Pre-registration is required!!!
Deadline is Saturday, February 19th, 2011 at 5pm!

1) The wrestler must be a resident of the State of Alabama. Be certain of your wrestler's weight class; your wrestler must have previously competed at that age group and weight in at least 3 Alabama USA tournaments this season, with the exception of Schoolboy/Middle school, which will not have a minimum.

2) Alabama USA Standards will be used for weight classes and age divisions. Each wrestler must compete in his appropriate age group and may only compete in ONE weight class. Wrestler may not change weight classes once pre-registered.

3) Weigh-in's will be in a singlet with 1-pound allowance. There will be a skin check. Wrestler must make weight at registered weight class to compete.

4) Coaches must maintain a visible USA membership card to be allowed on mats and in the hospitality room. Only two coaches allowed mat side during a match. This will be strictly enforced.

5) Registration fee per wrestler is $17. Register on line at Trackwrestling.com. Wrestlers must have their USA card AND trackwrestling number to compete.

6) Seeding will be used. When you preregister, please take time to note your wrestler's record and marquee wins in the seeding section. A seeding meeting will be held on Sunday, February 20th, time and location TBD, the information you provided will help seed your wrestler.

School Boy / Middle School:

 

-Weigh-in: 5:OO – 5:30pm
-Wrestling Begins: 6:30pm for all rounds except the finals
- Born 8/1/1995 to 12/31/1998 (and meet AHSM middle school age requirements)
- Weights: 70, 77, 84, 91, 98, 105, 112, 120, 128, 136, 144, 152, 160, 175, 190, 210 and 235

NEW Rookie Division – First year wrestlers only!!

 

-Weigh-in: Satellite weigh-in at clubs on Thursday (Clubs responsible for sending in weigh-in sheets to Jason Leseur.)

-Wrestling Begins: 5:30pm - all rounds including the finals and medal presentation

 

-Bantam, Intermediate and Novice Groups only (No Middle School)

. Optional Weigh-in (Bantam, Intermediate, Novice) - 6:30 - 8:OOpm

-Wrestling - 10:30am - 12:45pm for all rounds but the finals

-Weights: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 87, 95, 103, 112, 120, 140

Novice:

 

- Weigh-in: 11:OOam – 11:30am

-Wrestling - 1:00pm - 3:30pm for all rounds except finals

-Born 1999 - 2000

-Weights: 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 120, 130, 140 and 165


Finals

 

-Battle of the Best - State Champions from 6A vs. lA - 5A: 3:45pm - 5:15pm

-State Championship Finals Wrestling Announcements: 5:30pm

-State Championship Finals Wrestling Begins: 6:00pm

Awards

 

-Individual awards will follow each weight Class

 

-Team Awards and Most Outstanding Wrestler awards will be at the end of the event.

The schedule may have minor adjustments when registration is complete.
